Itinerary
Please make your arrangement to reach Baroda by train or flight before 10 am. We will first visit Baroda Palace which is called Laxmi Vilas palace. This magnificent monument was built by Maharaja Sayyaji Rao Gaikwad in 1890 who ruled Baroda State. Major Charles Mant was a main Architect of the palace. Palace has original beautiful paintings by Raja Ravi Verma. After visiting Palace, we will go to Baroda Museum and Picture Gallery. This was built in 1894 on lines of Victoria and Albert Museum London. It preserves a rich collection of art, sculpture, ethnography and ethnology. The picture gallery offers a collection of originals by famous British painters J. M. W. Turner and John Constable and many others. The Egyptian mummy and skeleton of a baby blue whale are major attractions for those who visit the museum. Other treasure includes the famous Akota bronzes dating to the fifth century AD, a collection of Mughal miniatures, a full-fledged gallery of Tibetan Art and oils by several European masters. We will check in to the hotel and time to relax. In the evening we can go for local shopping at Nawa Bazar. Dinner at the Hotel.

Overnight at the hotel at Baroda
Morning we will have early breakfast and Checkout from the hotel so that we can proceed to Statue of unity at 0900am. On arrival we will check in to the hotel and immediately leave for the sight-seeing. We will have E-rickshaw for the day (8 Hrs.). These environment friendly vehicles, driven only by Women at Ekta Nagar will take us to different sight-seeing. We will visit, Valley of flowers, Cactus Garden Vishwa van, Butterfly Garden and have Nauka vihar. 4-6 pm (Time Slots are given to visit Statue of Unity, we will try to book 4-6pm slot) will have access to viewing gallery. Museum, and at 0630pm we will attend light and sound show at SoU. Will get back to the hotel for dinner and have overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, and check out from the hotel, we will visit Shoolpanshwar Shiva temple which is a significant temple and is a part of Narmada parikrama. We will reach Baroda by 300 PM.
